Every child has a very unique character and they live in this amazing world with endless magic - where everything is possible, and all the little things are fun. I love that, and I love walking into that world with them - that is why I love photographing them. Bored and frustrated kids don't make good portraits, so I don't force them to follow my plan. In fact I don't have one when photographing children. I adjust myself to go with their flow. If I have to run around after them to get the shots that I want, then that's what's going to happen :) I like candid and natural portraits of kids being kids, and that is what I strive to capture. Above all I want their true personality to shine!

 

WHEN TO BOOK

Here are some early childhood milestones: 6 to 7 months, when the baby starts sitting; 1 year celebration; 18 months, when he or she starts running around; and once a year after that, at least from 2 to 5 years old to capture the child's growth and changes in personality. Other than that, it is never a bad time to have your children photographed. It is incredible how fast kids grow and change, so if they are going through some special time or character you would like captured in portraits, give me a call.

 

BOOKING OPTIONS

I usually recommend an outdoor location for Children's Photography Sessions if they are between the ages of 18 months and 3 years to keep them more entertained; and in-studio sessions for babies under 1 year. We will discuss all the details and possibilities of your kiddo's photography session during our phone consultation. If you have two or more children, we can do a photography session to include all the siblings and get portraits of them together, as well as individually. SESSION DETAILS

• All child and baby photography sessions include a phone consultation, in-person wardrobe consultation, a 1 to 2 hour portrait session, and an in-person artwork design consultation.
• The sitting fee is $320 due at the time of booking. The sitting fee is for the time and talent only. Portraits, products, and digital collections are purchased separately.
• For your final artwork, I offer: custom wall displays, fine art albums, folio collections, canvas displays, custom made frames, and other custom-designed products. Digital file collections are also available. I will help you choose the best printing options and products for your artwork to compliment your home and your personal style. On average, people usually invest between $1500 and $4000 on their portrait order.
